The Lancet Commission on Investing in Health has published its report, marking the 20th anniversary of the 1993 World Development Report.  Earlier this year at COHRED Colloquium 2013, we were pleased to partner with the Lancet Commission, enabling them to use this event as one of their collaborative activities.  We are pleased that the final report not only recalls the important report of the Commission on Health Research for Development, but makes a strong call for capacitation of population, policy and implementation research if we are to achieve significant progress in health outcomes over the coming years.
