Introduction
This interim report on ‘Forum 2012: Beyond Aid…Research and Innovation as key drivers for Health, Equity and Development’ aims to provide a snapshot of the key highlights, outcomes and potential implications of this conference. A full conference evaluation and report is due for publication at the end of July 2012.
Forum 2012 was held from 24 to 26 April 2012 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) and was jointly organised by the COHRED1 Group, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of South Africa.
